Navigating Products:

The primary navigation menu is found at the top of each page here at Bakes Online. You can click on a main category link and then see more options for navigating deeper within the body of the page. For example, you can click on "Boat" and it will take you to a page with all boat related parts and accessories categories. To then get more specific (Say you know the exact part you want to look at) you would click on the next category such as "Gaskets" under the Engine column to see all gasket related products. Once you reach a catalog page simply click the product picture or title to view description and purchasing information.


Searching for a Product:

You can search for various products by clicking into the search box in the upper left with your mouse cursor. Once you click simply type in a phrase or keyword and then click the "Search" button.

Not all phrases or keywords will return a result. If this occurs, you may want to try an advanced search or modify your search.


E-mailing a Friend:

If you would like to tell someone about a particular product at Bakes Online, click the "email a friend" button located below the product description. Then enter the required information and click "Send".


» Discounts and Coupon Codes

Using Coupon Codes:

Bake’s will occasionally offer Coupon Codes during sales or special promotions. Coupon codes are case sensitive and cannot contain any spaces. Make sure they are entered exactly as they are displayed during your checkout process.

Prices will not reflect the discount until the coupon code is applied at checkout. Also please note that only one coupon code can be used at a time & discounts do not compound on top of other discounts or promotions.


About Sales and Discounts:

At times Bake’s will offer sales and discounts on all products or on individual items on promotion. In some cases, the original price will be slashed out and marked at the sale price. Discounts (codes or special promotions) do not apply on top of an existing discount or sale price...so if an item is already marked down and there is an additional sale or coupon code that extra discount will not apply.

Adding Items to your Cart

The shopping cart detail is located to the bottom right of your screen once logged into your account. Also, the "View Cart" button can be found at the very top of the screen. of BakesOnline.com at all times. To add an item to the cart simply go into a product detail page and click the "Add To Cart" button. If there are options such as size or color, be sure and select an option prior to clicking "Add To Cart" (If you forget this step you will be prompted to make a selection before proceeding). Also, if you would like more than one (1) of the item simply enter the amount you would like in the quantity box (if applicable). After clicking "Add To Cart", you will be taken to a detailed cart summary showing what is in your cart. To change the quantity of an item, enter the desired number in the text box below the "Qty" header and click "Update Quantity". To remove an item from your cart, click "Remove" under the "Options" header. You may then either continue shopping by simply navigating to more products or proceed to checkout by clicking the "Checkout" button at the bottom of the page. You may view this detailed shopping cart summary at any time by clicking "View Cart" at the top of the web site.

Checking Out

You can checkout at anytime. Simply click the "View Cart" button located at the top of the page and then click "Checkout" at the bottom right of the page.

If you desire, you may modify your order before clicking "Checkout". To change the quantity just enter the desired number in the text box that corresponds to the item you wish to update. Then, click the "Update Quantity" button. If you have a coupon number, enter it in the coupon code box and click "Apply". If you would like to save your cart you can do so by clicking the "Save Cart" button. If you are logged in it will save the cart to your wish list. If you don't have an account you can create one at this point. You may also remove an item from your cart by clicking "Remove" next to the item it corresponds to. When ready, click "Checkout".

Now, you will need to enter billing and shipping information. (If you are logged in your information will appear automatically. Simply make changes if any.) Your billing information needs to match the address on the credit card you use to pay with. Click "Continue" at the bottom right of the page.

Now, if you have a gift certificate you can apply it simply by entering the certificate code into the text box and then clicking on "Apply". Next, enter your payment information. If you need to edit your billing information you can do so by clicking on "Edit". Be sure and review your order total. When ready, click "Complete Order". (Your payment will be processed at this point).

You will now receive a confirmation and an order number. You will also receive an email shortly after with an order detail and summary. You may also click on "View" to see the detail summary immediately. If you wish, print the page for your records. You may also reorder and track your shipment from this page. *Note: you will not be able to track the order until it has been shipped and assigned a tracking number.

About Sales Tax:

BakesOnline.com does not charge sales tax on any product for orders outside of the state of Washington. Washington residents pay all applicable tax.


Changing or Canceling an Order:

After clicking "Complete Order", you cannot change or cancel your order online. Call us at 425.392.7599 or email sales@bakesonline.com. Please contact us as soon as possible so we can make any necessary changes to your order. If you have not clicked "Complete Order" yet, you may make changes by clicking "View cart" at the top of the page.


Out of Stock Items:

If an item you order is currently out of stock, you will receive an email or phone call with an estimate on when we are expecting the item to be available to ship. The date is simply a best guess, there is no guarantee that the item will ship out on the date specified. The date is based on information we receive from the manufacturer of the product and there are many variables involved.


Closeouts:

Bakes Online occasionally offers closeout items at discounted prices. When closeouts are available you will be able to find them by clicking on the "Closeouts" button located on the main navigation bar of the web site.


» Shipping

Shipping Costs:

Shipping may be FREE on select products. We also offer a number of expedited shipping options including 3 Day, 2 Day, and Next Day.

If you would like to see the ship rates for your order, click "Checkout" from your cart. This will take you to the order information page. Click on "Check Rates" for whichever ship method/company you prefer located under the Shipping Method header. If logged in, the shipping prices will be displayed. If not logged in, you will be prompted to select your city, state, postal code, and country. After entering the required information, click the rates button again and you will be presented the shipping prices.

Hawaii and Alaska customers must choose either 2nd Day Air and Next Day Air options.


Shipping Duration:

All orders for in stock items will generally ship the same day. UPS Ground shipments will arrive within 1 to 7 business days, depending on your location. 3 Day Select shipments will arrive within three business days, 2nd Day Air shipments will arrive within two business days, and Next Day Air shipments will arrive the following business day. PLease note, items may occasionally be out-of-stock. If this is the case, you will receive a call and/or an email with a shipping estimate.


Tracking a Shipment:

You may track your order at any time by clicking "Login/Register" at the top of the website. Sign into your account and then click "View Order Status and History". Click the "Track" button that corresponds with the order you wish to track.

After clicking "Track", you will see a link for any packages that have shipped toward the bottom of the page under the Tracking Details header.

If you have any specific questions concerning your order you may contact us.

Please note that it may take up to 48 business hours for you order status and tracking number(s) to be updated. Also note that the expected ship date is only an estimate. We do not guarantee that the item will ship out on the date specified. The date is a best guess based on information we receive from the manufacturer of the product. There are no guarantees from Bakes Online on ship dates.

Bakes Online uses UPS to ship. There are various shipping options within UPS that you will be able to select at checkout. These include but are not always limited to: ground, 3 day select, 2 day air, and next day air. US Postal Service and/or FedEx may be available. Please call us if this is a method you prefer.


International Shipping:

Bakes is happy to ship orders internationally! Our shopping cart is set up for Canada, Australia and New Zealand. If your country isn’t available, simply shop our online store as you normally would and add all the items you would like to your shopping cart. Then, copy and paste your shopping cart into an e-mail along with your complete billing and shipping address. With that information we will follow up with a UPS and USPS shipping estimate. You can then phone in your credit card information or pay via PayPal to complete your order.

Creating an Account:

To create an account simply click "Login/Register" at the top of the web site. From there simply fill out the required information under the Create New Account header and click "Continue".


Logging Into an Existing Account:

To login to an existing account click "Login/Register" at the top of the web site. Fill out the required information under the Sign In To Your Account header and click the "Sign In" button below your information.


Viewing Order Status/History:

You must first sign into your account (see above). Then click on the "View Order Status and History" link.


Wish List:

To view your Wish List you need to be logged into your account (see above). From there you may either click on the "Wish List" link that appears once logged in at the bottom right of the web site, or you may click the "My Account" link in the same spot and then click on the "Access My Wish List" link.


Address Book:

To see your address book, sign into your account (see above) and click the "Manage Adress Book" link. From there you can add and edit your address book.
