How Does Dri-Z-Air Work?

Dri-Z-Air uses moisture-absorbing calcium chloride crystals instead of electricity to help control excess humidity.

Air circulates through the vented upper portion of the dehumidifier, where the crystals attract moisture from the surrounding air. As the crystals absorb moisture, they gradually dissolve and the resulting liquid collects in the reservoir below.

Dri-Z-Air crystals become active when relative humidity rises above approximately 50%. When humidity drops below that level, the crystals essentially pause until humidity increases again.
