Johnson 09-707B-1 Malibu Sherwood Impeller Service Kit

This just-released Johnson 09-707B-1 Impeller service kit was manufactured to fill the need for a quality service part for Malibu & Axis owners experiencing issues with their original Sherwood impellers. This impeller kit is manufactured to fit the Malibu M5 and M6 Engine that has the Sherwood Water Pump. The 09-707b-1 kit services 2018-2021.5 Malibu Boats & Axis Wake M5di and M6di Engines equipped with the Sherwood pump. The kit includes a new impeller, paper gasket, 4 pump cover plate screws, o-ring & silicone lubricant to service your water pump on a Malibu M5 or Malibu M6 engine equipped with the Sherwood water pump. Mid 2021 model year Malibu changed to a Johnson pump so make sure to inspect your motor to verify what impeller it needs as this key slotted impeller only works in the Sherwood pump. Also please note this kit does include the paper gaskets which are not used on the Malibu engine. This kit also services the Sherwood G1502, G1503, G1503-01, G1503-02, and G1503-03 water pumps.

Early production M5 and M6 engines had a Sherwood 1500K impeller in the pump and Malibu / Axis found them to fail prematurely in their application. It is not recommended to use a Sherwood 1500K impeller.
