Malibu / Axis Fuel Pump In Tank Gen 3

Malibu Boats and Axis Wake factory in-tank fuel pump. The current Malibu GEN3 fuel pump part number is 3020529 which superseded the previous 3020516, 3020516.1, 3020516.2, and 3020516.3. Please note that this fuel pump will not work in the Response or boats or any model boats equipped with the LSA engine.  

In 2023 Malibu made changes to this in-tank pump and the regulator is no longer on top of the fuel tank like the previous models. The last 2 photos are of the old-style fuel pump with the regulator on top.

• OEM Malibu and Axis Boats fuel pump
• Manufactured by Millenium Industries exclusively for Malibu/Axis
• This pump is used on most 2007+ Malibu and Axis Boats
• Gen 3 pump will replace Gen 2 pump used in 2007/2008 boats
• Fits boat models with the hull identifier: EFZKGSJW 
• 7-7/8" inch rods
• 60 PSI fuel pump / 400 KPA
• The most common in-tank fuel pump on Malibu / Axis Boats
• Not used on Malibu Response
• Not used on Indmar LSA Engines

Installation Tips:

• Install the pump into the tank access hold and align the fitting on the pump toward the molded arrow in the tank.
• Torque hardware to 52-65 inch pounds. 
• 1st Pass - After tightening the first bolt, tighten the next 3 bolts in 90-degree increments until all 12 bolts have been installed.
• Starting with your last bolt tightened, go around clockwise and tighten each bolt in order until all bolts have been tightened again.
