Engine Fitment

This oil service kit is intended for:

• Malibu M-Series LT4 applications
• Malibu Monsoon LT4 supercharged marine engines
• LT4 engines equipped with the Hengst E1001H cartridge oil filter
• Applicable LT4 engines approximately April–May 2020 production and newer
• Malibu Monsoon M6Di engines manufactured between March 1, 2021 and May 31, 2024 that require 0W-40 full synthetic engine oil

Important M6Di Oil Requirement Update

If your Malibu Monsoon M6Di engine was manufactured between March 1, 2021 and May 31, 2024, the engine oil requirement was changed to 0W-40 Full Synthetic per the applicable GM service bulletin.

Because Malibu M6Di oil requirements can vary based on engine production date, we strongly recommend verifying your specific engine application before ordering.

Important Oil Filter Fitment Information

The Hengst E1001H cartridge oil filter went into production on applicable Malibu LT4 engines around April–May 2020. Earlier engines may use a different oil filter.

Oil viscosity and filter requirements can vary by engine model and production date. Do not rely on boat model year alone when selecting your engine oil service kit.
