TFXTREME premium cables have a heavy jacket and a splined, coated core element for maximum smoothness with minimal lost motion (4" min. bend radius).

Black HDPE outer casing provides durability and the best resistance to UV and chemicals. These cables meet or exceed all applicable industry standards. They can be used in place of SSC134 cables with SH5210P or SH5030P helms.

Not sure what length cable to purchase? You can find the Teleflex steering cable part number location easily. Teleflex steering cable part numbers are stamped in white letters on the cable’s sheathing about 12-24" from the rack. The last two digits of the part number are the cable length. (Example SSC13415 = 15' Ft Cable.)

If you are unable to locate the manufacturer's part number, remove and measure your existing cable: Measure the plastic cable jacket in inches (“Y” dimension shown in the photo to the left) Add 30” to that number you just measured and round up to next foot. That is your cable length to order.
