Important Malibu M6 Oil Specification Update

Malibu M6 engines manufactured between March 1, 2021, and May 31, 2024, may be affected by an updated oil specification requiring 0W-40 full-synthetic engine oil instead of 5W-30.

If your M6 engine falls within this production period, verify the applicable service bulletin and engine oil requirements before ordering.

Do not use the discontinued Malibu 5W-30 oil in LT4 supercharged engines or M6 engines that require 0W-40.
